1 - WHAT DOES OVENPROOF MEAN?
Refractory glass is a special type of glass, also called borosilicate glass. Refractory glass is resistant to thermal shock and can withstand both high and low temperatures equally well.

2 - CAN I USE GLASS BAKEWARE IN A CONVENTIONAL OVEN?
Yes. This glass bakeware can be safely used in a conventional oven. You just need to be careful that the oven is not pre-heated to more than 100 degrees, since this may cause thermal shock damage.

3 - HOW SHOULD I LOOK AFTER GLASS BAKEWARE?
There are two important things you should avoid: stacking the glassware, one on top of another, and thermal shock.

Piling up glassware can chip the edges and cause the items to knock together when you pick them up. We strongly advise you not to use chipped items of glassware.

Thermal shock is caused by a sudden change in temperature that can cause your glass bakeware to break. You can avoid it by being careful when you remove glassware items from the freezer or refrigerator and take them straight to the table, or when taking them from the oven and putting them straight into the refrigerator. Another important point is that you should not pre-heat your oven to more than 100 degrees.

4 - CAN I USE THIS GLASS BAKEWAREWARE IN A MICROWAVE OVEN?
Glassware is ideal for use in microwaves, including those with a browning feature.

5 - CAN I USE THIS GLASSWARE FOR FREEZING FOOD?
Glassware is perfect for freezing food because besides resisting low temperatures you can see what food you have frozen.

6 - CAN I PUT GLASS BAKEWARE IN THE MICROWAVE FOR DEFROSTING FOOD?
Bakeware can be taken from the refrigerator or freezer and put straight into the microwave for defrosting food. The microwave heats the food from the inside out, and therefore it first heats the food and then gradually heats up the glassware, thereby avoiding thermal shock.

7 - CAN GLASSWARE BE PUT IN THE DISHWASHER?
Yes. Glassware can be put in the dishwasher and, as its surface is smooth, it does not retain scraps of food, thus facilitating the washing process.

8 - HOW CAN I REMOVE THE TRACES OF BURNT-ON FOOD THAT STICK TO THE BAKEWARE AFTER IT HAS BEEN USED FOR SOME TIME?
Leave the item soaking in a chemical product that contains ammonia or in warm water and detergent to remove burnt-on food from glassware.

9 - WHAT ARE THOSE WHITE MARKS THAT APPEAR ON GLASSWARE?
The white marks appear because the item has been washed using rough sponges, steel wool or soap-filled products. The quality and quantity of soap that you put in your dishwasher may also stain your glassware.
